Where to Stay: Cheval Blanc — for the most luxurious of luxury hotels.
Where to Eat: Lapérouse for a fancy and unforgettable experience, or L’Oiseau Blanc atop the Peninsula Paris for a view of the Eiffel Tower. Noglu for gluten free staples. Wild & the Moon for health food. Naturalia for regular groceries — for a picnic or whatnot. Loup for a hipster-esque but delicious meal. Escargot if you want to try some snails!
What to Order: Lapérouse? Anything. At Noglu, the gluten-free quiche. At Wild & The Moon, the açaí bowl and the blueberry scone… at virtually any café, make sure to have a glass of Sancerre!
Favorite Place for a Drink: Bar Hemingway for ambiance (I am partial to the Serendipity cocktail), but Harry’s New York Bar for the best Bloody Mary in Paris. For incredible ambiance, do not miss the jazz cave Chez Papa in Saint Germain des Près for a drink, music, and meal. I used to stop by Cafe de L’Empire for fries, salmon tartar, and wine while I wrote.

Favorite Place to Shop: Le Bon Marché! I also love Maje, Kooples, Zadig & Voltaire, Ba&sh, Isabel Marant…
Amanu Style for the Trip: Style 06. All black with the large strap made from black croc, and the toe strap made from black suede.
Sustainable Travel Tip: Invest in dry shampoo and micellar water and thereby use less water — the hard water in Paris is awful for the hair, so try to go longer between washes.
What to Pack: Denim. Bodysuits. A dress. A blazer and a leather jacket. Amanu sandals, Chelsea boots, and heels. Black is always appropriate, and you can find locally-made cashmere scarves there for extra warmth.
Must See: I guess the Tuileries are a great place to begin?
Favorite Activity: Stroll the Seine, enjoy the gardens, and forget your rigid itineraries — the beauty of Paris will not be missed if you take your time to absorb the vibe over a glass of wine, and soak in the experience of the historic and beautiful architecture.

Secret Tip: Montorgueuil is rarely spoken of but it is actually so cute! I used to pass through it on my way to the gym.
What is something you can't travel without? Google maps!
What do you always forget when you pack? Toothpaste
Next dream destination: The Cotswalds
